NTX Spartans Coach, Jeremy Hazelbaker, makes the Cardinals Opening Day Roster!

NTX Spartans coach, Jeremy Hazelbaker, made the MLB Cardinals opening day roster after 7 seasons and over 751 minor league games.  We are so proud and happy for him.  Jeremy is a great guy, a incredible player, and an inspiration for all young athletes.  He is humble about his skills, but behind his quiet and relaxed demeanor is a guy that works very hard and has an amazing passion for the game.  Our organization was privileged and honored to have him help develop our players and coach some games.  We will miss him, but wish him the very best!!

-- Jeremy, continue to do all you do with No Regrets!

The spring baseball season has officially started with the 14U AAA team this weekend at the Triple Creek Crank it to the Creek Tournament.  They played well going 2-2 facing some solid competition. The other teams will start their seasons in less than one month.  Keep working on the basics.  There will always be players more talented than you, but no one should be able to out work you!

Ryan just recently retired from playing baseball.  He was drafted as a pitcher in the 18th round by the Texas Rangers in 2005 and he played for A, AA, and AAA teams including the Frisco Roughriders. In 2010, he was traded with Tanner Roark to the Washington Nationals for Christian Guzman. Thereafter, he played with the Hanwha Eagles in Korea until he recently retired. Ryan will be working the other NTX Spartan development coaches and helping train and coach our players.
